STONE FOREST®, Santa Fe, N.M., unveils two additions to its bathtub collection with the introduction of the Facet Bathtub.
Carved from single blocks of Antique Gray Limestone or Noce Basalt sourced from Europe, these tubs are architectural statements, as well as functional sculptures emphasizing the simple beauty of natural stone.
Part of the company’s Elemental Facet collection of vanities, vessels, storage units and accessories, these bathtubs are designed to stand alone. Hand-crafted to create subtle flat planes they reflect and refract light when viewed from different angles.
Taking three weeks to complete, the ovoid shape is squared at each end to provide a small rest for accoutrements. Each measures 68” X 38” X 24”, and weighs 2,800 lbs.
