MAPEI NORTH AMERICA, Deerfield Beach, Fla., announced Polyplan™ RSL rapid-setting, self-leveling polymer-modified underlayment.

Designed to create an enhanced bond over nonporous surfaces, Polyplan RSL even works on epoxy moisture barriers and razor-scraped adhesive residues. The underlayment’s fast-setting properties allow for rapid installation and project turnaround.

For ease of application, Polyplan RSL features excellent flow properties that create a smooth, defect- and VOC-free hard surface capable of withstanding heavy traffic and rolling loads, making it idea for heavy use areas such as airports, hospitals and malls.

Packaged in pre-measured containers, the two-part compound does not require water for mixing, and Polyplan RSL meets ASTM F710-17 standard for Preparing Concrete Floors to Receive Resilient Flooring, as well as ASTM 2873-13 standard for the Installation of Self-Leveling Underlayment and the Preparation of Surface to Receive Resilient Flooring.
