EPIROC USA LLC, Broomfield, Colo., adds to its COP M-series of hammers with the COP M7 and COP M8, designed for use with the company’s SmartROC D65 drill rig.
The two new hammers are also designed to complement the COP M6DTH hammer, which was introduced in 2019 and has been the optimal choice for use with the SmartROC D65 drill rig. Epiroc’s M-series hammers are designed to adapt to different air pressures and volumes with a simple component exchange.
The COP M-series DTH hammers come with innovative and patented technology, including a unique air cycle and an all-new bit design. Epiroc Bits are fitted with harder, tougher carbines to ensure the best quality drilling tools under demanding conditions. The new range of bits also features a patented, tubeless solid shank for higher-quality blast holes.
